Interviews Interviews

June 3, 2025

Through the many interviews I've taken, I've come to realize the value of saying yes—even to opportunities that don’t initially seem appealing. It's easy to dismiss certain roles or companies based on surface-level impressions, job titles, or industries outside your usual scope. However, going into those conversations with an open mind has often led to unexpected insights and growth. I've found that the interview process itself can reveal aspects of a company or position that you can't grasp from a job listing alone—whether it's a mission that resonates, a culture that aligns, or a challenge that excites you in ways you hadn't anticipated.

In fact, some of the interviews I was least excited about at first ended up being the most compelling. These experiences broadened my perspective and helped me identify what truly motivates me in a role. They also sharpened my communication skills, clarified my career priorities, and sometimes even opened doors to new paths I hadn’t previously considered. Taking those unexpected interviews taught me that curiosity and openness can be just as important as strategy when navigating your career.
